Here at The Last Resort Outfitters (TLRO) it has always been our creed and our motto - ‘We row the extra mile.’ Since 1992, we have epitomized, personified and made every effort to put our best foot forward. Rest assured that a trip booked with TLRO will be an invigorating adventure you will talk about and treasure the rest of your life. We can’t always guarantee that Mother Nature will cooperate with ideal weather or numbers of fish landed, but we do guarantee that every effort will be made to make the best out of whatever comes our way. After all, that is what defines the success of any adventure.

We guarantee jovial, happy, polite, considerate, and safety-conscious guides and staff anxious to share their Idaho and your TLRO adventure with you. No other Idaho outfitter can show you the diversity when it comes to Idaho fishing that we can thanks to the multitude of waters for which we have permits. Few, if any, outfitters have the experience and years of whitewater rafting that your host has. An Idaho native, I have been whitewater rafting rivers since 1963. Fishing has always been a passion since as a child, I was fortunate enough to have my birthday fall on the opening day of the Idaho fishing season and been in tune to the pursuit ever since.

Our love of Idaho and the Salmon and Snake River country and our love and willingness to share it with our friends and clients is totally what we are all about. Our Lodge is nestled between the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 - The Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and the Hell’s Canyon National Recreation Area - our trips venture in and outside of their boundaries.

Rest assured that our Lodge will always be a clean, comfortable, and a safe haven; our food always delicious with local grown fresh foods; our large covered log deck and landscaped yard with river frontage a relaxing and welcoming retreat; and our staff always friendly, comforting, and accommodating.
